Modernization of ZD 10/90 and ZD 40 tensile and compression testing machines
• Retrofit of machines built in the 1980s whose original electronics can no longer be serviced or replaced.
• ZD 10/90 – complete new control: PLC, control panel with emergency stop, fast/slow speed and direction selection, joystick positioning and thyristor servo drive of the DC motor.
• ZD 40 – new measurement and visualization system on the existing machine.
• Force measured by a load cell (ZD 10/90) or a pressure transducer (ZD 40); jaw travel by an absolute encoder.
• PC with Windows 10 and dedicated software: analog and digital force indicator with peak hold, position, displacement and speed, live force–elongation graph, saving and printing.
• Range 0–10 000 kg (ZD 10/90) and 0–40 000 kg (ZD 40), resolution 1 kg; travel speed 0–300 mm/min; displacement accuracy 0.01 mm / 0.04 mm.
